Frequently asked questions
Patterns & Formats
What do I receive after purchase?
A digital sewing pattern in PDF format, including:
- print-at-home file (A4)
- Large-Format (600 mm / 900 mm wide)
- sewing instructions
Are your patterns digital or physical?
All patterns are digital downloads. No physical product will be shipped.
Sizing & Fit
How do I choose the correct size?
Use your body measurements, not your usual clothing size.
- Tops, dresses, outerwear → choose by bust/chest
- Trousers, skirts → choose by hips
All patterns are listed in EU sizes.
Use the Size Guide for full sizing instructions, including size conversion charts, height reference, and guidance for between-sizes decisions.
Why is my pattern size different from store sizes?
Ready-to-wear brands use their own sizing systems.
Our patterns are based on body measurements, so your size may differ.
What if my measurements don’t match one size exactly?
Choose the size based on your key measurement (bust or hips depending on garment type).
Patterns are sold as single sizes, so minor adjustments may be needed during sewing.
Are your patterns drafted for a specific height?
Yes.
- Women’s patterns: 170–176 cm
- Men’s patterns: 176–180 cm
If you are outside this range, length adjustments may be needed.
What measurements do I need?
To choose a size:
- bust/chest
- waist
- hips
We also provide reference body measurements (bicep, inseam, etc.) to help you check proportions and anticipate adjustments.
What are finished garment measurements?
These are the measurements of the completed garment.
Use them to:
- compare with your body
- compare with garments you own
- understand how the piece will fit
Will the pattern fit me perfectly?
Not necessarily.
Patterns are drafted for specific measurements.
Most people will need minor adjustments for the best fit.
Can I exchange a pattern if I chose the wrong size?
Yes — we offer a one-time size exchange.
- request within 14 days of purchase
- include your order number and requested size
- limited to one exchange per order
The replacement file will be sent via email.
For full details, see our Refund Policy.
Files & Printing
How do I print the pattern?
You can print:
- A4 → at home or at any print shop
- Large-Format (600 mm / 900 mm wide) → at a print shop with large-format printing
For setup and assembly, refer to the Printing Instructions page.
What is the difference between A4 and Large-Format pattern files?
- A4 → pattern is split across multiple pages that you print and assemble
- Large-Format (600 mm / 900 mm wide) → pattern is printed on one large sheet
Both formats contain the same pattern — only the printing method differs.
Which pattern format should I choose?
- Choose A4 if you are printing at home or using standard printers
- Choose Large-Format (600 mm / 900 mm wide) if you want to avoid assembling pages and have access to large-format printing
