We created these trousers for those who seek the perfect silhouette but value simplicity and honesty in design. It’s a model with nothing extra- just the shape, the volume, and you.

Why this pattern will become your favorite:

  • The Magic of the Silhouette: Fitted at the hips, they flow into wide, straight legs. This isn’t just about being trendy-it’s incredibly practical for daily life, where clothes must move with you. The high rise and front pleat work together to make your silhouette look sharp and refined.
  • A Flawless Waistband: We skipped the external button in favor of an invisible zipper and a flat hook. This keeps the waistline clean and minimalist, allowing you to tuck in any top without adding bulk.
  • Sewing as Meditation: The sewing sequence is thought out to the smallest detail. You’ll start by forming deep pleats, watching the architectural shape come to life, and finish with a sophisticated bias-bound waistband. We’ve turned complex techniques into simple, clear steps.
  • Tested by Us: We don’t just create patterns - we invent the clothing we wear ourselves. We make them for our friends all around the world. These are pieces that travel with us, work with us, rest with us - they live alongside us, providing ease and comfort wherever you are. They fit perfectly into any wardrobe and become that essential base you’ll never want to take off. We do what we love - for ourselves and for you.

For this trouser design, we recommend choosing structured fabrics to maintain the volume of the decorative pleat. While a slightly softer look with a natural "drape" is acceptable for the women’s model, the fabric should still be firm enough to show the design.

Recommended Materials:

  • Heavyweight Cotton (Cotton Twill): Holds clean lines and is perfect for a classic, everyday look.
  • Heavyweight Linen: Creates a beautiful texture; the pleat looks architectural yet natural in linen.
  • Denim: A great choice for a structured, casual silhouette.
  • Canvas: Gives the trousers a modern, utility look and holds its shape perfectly.
  • Corduroy: The thickness and ribbed texture make the pleat look deep and expressive.
  • Structured Suit Fabric: A special addition for this model. Choose medium-weight wool or blended suit fabrics. They allow the pleat to look softer and more feminine while still keeping the overall shape of the trousers.

Pro Tip: Even though a softer look is okay for this model, try to avoid very thin or "flimsy" fabrics (like thin rayon or unlined silk). These materials are too light to support the volume of the pleat, and the design effect will be lost.
