We created this shirt for those seeking a balance between a relaxed silhouette and sharp geometry. The high standing collar makes the look more modern and light, drawing all the attention to the graphic details.

Why this pattern will become your favorite:

  • Design in the Details: High cuffs with five buttons and an oversized chest pocket are our way of making a classic shirt expressive and architectural. The neat standing collar holds its shape perfectly, highlighting the neckline and giving the look a polished feel without being too formal.
  • Technology for Everyone: Even though this garment looks complex, we’ve designed the pattern and the assembly steps so that even a beginner can handle it. We removed the unnecessary difficulties while keeping the flawless, professional look of the finished piece.
  • Effortless Luxury Inside: We finish the inner seam of the standing collar with bias binding. It’s not just beautiful - it’s incredibly comfortable against the skin, a small detail that defines a truly high-quality garment.
  • Tested by Us: We don’t just create patterns - we invent the clothing we wear ourselves. We make them for our friends all around the world. This shirt travels with us, works with us, rests with us - it lives alongside us, providing ease in every situation. We do what we love - for ourselves and for you.

For this model, we recommend using structured, mid-to-heavyweight shirt fabrics. Since the design features clean lines (such as the high collar stand and shifted seams), the fabric should be stable to work with and hold its shape well after ironing.

Recommended Materials:

  • Shirt Cotton (Poplin / Oxford): A classic choice. Poplin offers a smooth surface, while Oxford provides a nice visible texture. Both fabrics hold the shape of the collar and cuffs perfectly.
  • Heavyweight Linen: Ideal for a structured yet comfortable look. Choose a medium-weight linen so the collar doesn't look too soft or "collapsed."
  • Denim or Chambray: Lightweight denim gives the shirt a modern, utility look. It is very stable for sewing and highly durable.
  • Flannel: a great option for a warmer shirt. Heavyweight flannel is soft to the touch but still holds its shape well.
  • Baby Cord (Micro-corduroy): Fine-ribbed corduroy. Its density perfectly highlights the architectural cut of this model.

Pro Tip: Avoid very thin, semi-transparent fabrics (like batiste) or very slippery materials (like silk or thin rayon). On these fabrics, the collar and plackets may lose the sharp, clean lines intended for this design.
